2003-2004 BigFlax.com College Bowl Challenge
Official Rules
I. Eligibility: Entrants must attend or have attended Northwestern University, unless I give specific exemption.
II. Participation: Entry fee is $2. I must have the entry fee before I leave for New Jersey (December 12) or in the case of exemptions, before the first game (December 16). Entrants will pick all 28 games and give a total points number for the Sugar Bowl. (Entrants may pick a final score if they want, but it will simply be combined. This removes the former problem where entrants needed to have the championship winner right to have their score count.) If there is a tie, the total points number will be used to break it. I must have all bowl picks by midnight in entrants' respective time zones on the night of December 15. Entrants who submit before then may change their picks up until that deadline, but they will be locked in at midnight.
III. Scoring: All games are worth one point each. Yes, the New Orleans Bowl is worth the same as the Sugar Bowl. Thus, picking the most games right determines the winner.
IV. Winning: The winner will receive the entirety of the pot. IMPORTANT RULE CHANGE: If there is a tie for first that cannot be broken by total points numbers, the contestants who tie for first will split the prize rather than settling for arbitrary tiebreakers.
