Link Me!

Stuff Not On My Site And Therefore Stupid

Boy, are these links outdated.  Let's cut through the bullshit here, shall we?
    J. Zasowki's School of Modeling.  Jan is the quiz bowl secretary and all-around good guy, and more importantly, I sometimes get mentioned on his site.
I took down the link to Leah's site, because it was never updated anyway.  You can still read this, culled from various IM conversations, in which she demands a shrine on this page.  This is also the closest she'll ever get to it.
Then there's Selvey, soon to be graduated and at law school at UIUC, whose page finally got some content added to it, and then was never updated again.

Shawn Murphy and Mike Tobin are a couple of cool guys, and you can check out the website for their band The Establishment here.  If you don't follow this link you will be banned from this page forever.

Or click on this li'l old link button right here:

... for some really funny stuff.

And here is a site that's pretty funny considering it's run by some random guy.  It also doesn't get updated much anymore.

Some of you, like me, may be big fans of The Simpsons.  If you are, and you remember the short, computer-animated feature "Homer^3" from one of the "Treehouse of Horror" episodes a few years back, this may interest you.

I did not write "Michaela May: Programmer Extraordinaire," but rather I am posting it on behalf of one of my friends who did write it.  I am not going to mention his name so as to protect the guilty.   (Okay, it was Dave.)

Ah, here we go: The Drunken Ramblings of Andrew K.

I seem to be able to use video longer than 10 seconds on the page now, though still just RealVideo, in my mind the least preferable alternative.  Anyway, the videos I've added are: the video for my rap parody "My Name is Frank Mullin" and a 40-second video time lapse that shows a golf course between 5:42 and 7:00 AM.  If the quality isn't too bad, watch the right center of the video between 6:25 and 6:41 (the time ticks away in the bottom right corner) for the sprinklers watering the green.  If the quality stinks, all you may be able to see is the lightening of the course as the sun comes up and maybe the clouds passing by.

Because I felt like it, I wrote a short story.  It's very short, and by that I mean not long.  So all you people who were too lazy to read my screenplay (read: everyone) can read this one and tell me what you think.

For those of you who think all my movie reviews and Simpsons obsessing means that I never read anything, read my first book review: Michael Crichton's latest, Timeline.

More Stuff Not On My Site

To find where I get a lot of my information, visit the most comprehensive Simpsons site ever.  simpsons.gif (3263 bytes)

A page that I use quite a bit is the Internet Movie Database, which has more information on more movies and TV shows than you could ever read.   But you could try.  To visit the IMDb: imdb.gif (2059 bytes)

Or you can use their search browser directly from here.
