Tomorrow's Another Night (1998)

Equipment visible

A tripod can be seen behind Rodriguez in a scene where he is speaking to Howell.

Anachronisms

Doug Stokes can be seen behind Howell and Atkins as Howell is leading a tour around the police department.  Stokes had not appeared in the film at that point, and even after that was the last suspect to be interrogated.

Speech errors not corrected

When telling Atkins about the "For Sale" signs, Howell explains that he and his wife finally saved up enough money "to rye a house on the right side of the tracks."  The word 'rye' should, of course, be 'buy.'

Errors in geography - specific

Howell gives the address of Porter and Rodriguez' apartment as 1930 W. 92nd Street.  In Manhattan, the street numbers on West 92nd Street do not run as high as 1930.

Continuity

The hair of the characters changes a number of times due to the extended period of time over which the film was shot.

In a front view of Atkins, he points at the For Sale signs and then puts his hand down.  When the shot changes to a wider side view, he is pointing at the signs again.

In a front view of Porter after he is punched, he is rubbing his jaw and then stops.  When the shot changes to a side view of his face, he is rubbing his jaw again.

Porter is punched from his left but he is rubbing the right side of his jaw.

When Howell tells Atkins to "watch and learn", he puts a pencil behind his ear.  In the next scene, as he rolls up his sleeves, the pencil has disappeared.

Stokes turns to look at Atkins in the car four different times.

Howell is leaning on his hand when Porter says he's been working the West Coast.  When the shot faces Howell again, his hand is flat on the table.

When Howell bangs his hand on the table while questioning Stokes, he brings his head to within an inch or two of Stokes' hat.  When the shot changes, he is noticeably farther away.

Just before Howell leaves, Atkins is sitting down.  As Howell walks out the door, Atkins is standing a distance away from the chair he had just been sitting in.
