Week Three

    Goddamn, that was bad.  I lost all three different games, and only went 8-8 - which, if you haven't already read on the main page, is my worst week since 4-9 in Week Six last year.  I also fell one behind Dave on the season which, let's see, sucks.  And it's the first time I've trailed since Week Seventeen of 2000 (and my subsequent loss of that season).  Yeah, we're only through two weeks, but my picking last week was bad.  Let's see if we can re-up.

    My pick to win is in bold; Dave's is in italics.   If we have the same pick, which we frequently do, it will quite obviously appear in bold italics.  This year I'm also doing "Best Bets."  In other words, the team we consider most likely to win their game in a given week.  This should make things a little more interesting.  They're at the bottom.
